Another events that we must see are the strong expansion of Demos by Japanese citizens in 2025. What's the connection between them? Few scholars or journalists may have discussed it so far.
In my opinion, if not all, the origin of both AI contents and demos should be the strong desire to alter the world. It could be too much mentioned. They may like to influence the world. Remembering 2020s, we have been under stress especially due to Covid-19. Now that we are in more freedom situation than the beginnings in 2020s, it can be high time for the persons to release strong desire. As a result, AI may have come across new age, of course partly because of the evolution of technology.
One thing that we cannot avoid pointing out happened that No one were praised as Akutagawa and Naoki Prizes this year. It is the first time since 1998 that such an occation happened. We know 1998 was the year when Japanese sub-culture reached the top, looking back at 1990s. In 1990s, some influential cultural phenomenon could be seen such as Amurar, Kogyagl, Tamagocchi, G-Shock, and so on. The year 1998 can be regarded as the conclusion of such cultures in 1990s.
Going back to the discussion of this year, some events such as Covid-19 can give rise to the mini-conclusion for sub culture since 2020-it emerged as AI contents. Technology is evolving more from now, as well, so it is possible to say that we mustn't distinct culture from media events.

Of course, I am one of those who have a kind of desire to change the world. I have been influenced with Eiichi Shibusawa, who was chosen as the main character in Taiga Drama- popular Japanese drama series in NHK. In this drama, his image is very a boy that in fact left the steps in modern Japan. I am also encouraged with his strong will, of course the hero in the drama, though.
